Deputy County Commissioner (Programme) - Open to All Scout members and Non-Members

We are looking for a volunteer manager for our Scouting Programme whi wants to impact the lives of thousands of young people and adult volunteers.  If you are interested or know someone who might be, then take a look at the vacancy pack where you can also apply or nominate someone.  Applications and nominations are requested no later than Friday 29th April 2022. 


 Activities Team Communications Manager - Open to All Scout members and Non-Members

As a key member of the County Activities Team, you will help them to communicate to volunteers about the activities and events available to our youing members.  This is a great opportunity to be directly involved in the planning, promoting and delivery of exciting major events for our young members across North Yorkshire.  Take a look at the role description and further advice about the role, which includes a link to the simple application form.  Applications are requested no later than Friday 29th April 2022. 


 County Appointments Secretary - Open to All Scout Members and Non-Members

We are seeking to appoint a new County Appointments Secretary.  Their role is to ensure that the required administration is carried out in support of the County Appointments Advisory Committee.  Working with the County Secretary, they will help to convene County appointment interviews, seek references, update Compass records for County Team members and advise on appointment reviews.  It's an interesting and highly responsible administrative role.  Training will be provided and you will have the opportunity to shadow the current Appointments Secretary before taking on the role. It's not a uniformed appointment and so it may appeal to any member or supporter.
