Introducing The Ramblers’ Challenge (and yes there’s a badge)!
This challenge is open to all Scout Network members (aged 18-25) across North Yorkshire and the NE Scout Region.
The challenge is to either walk, run, sail or row for a total of 200 miles (or 400 miles by bicycle or skateboard) over a consecutive four-month period (e.g. September to December or November to February etc).
That works out at either 50 or 100 miles every month and members can decide when they want to start the challenge.
Scout Network members who wish to take on this challenge will first need to register their intention to complete this challenge.
Take a look at the information pack and other invaluable advice HERE at the foot of our Scout Network page, where you can also register for The Ramblers’ Challenge
The challenge also counts towards the a) Queen's Scout Award b) Chief Scout's Diamond Award AND c) The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme
We encourage ALL Network Members to 'Have a Go'
