This is an "all-comers" event!!

We are holding the inaugural North Yorkshire County Chess Tournament during April. This is an all-comers event, open to Scouting and Guiding Youth and Adult members. It doesn't matter what your skill level is or how old you are!

We will be using a Chess app called Lichess. You will need to register (for free) with the app before you can join in. There's a link on the Form to register with Lichess if you aren't already.

Practice rounds commence 12th April - the timings of these will be published later. Finals to be held as part of the St. George's Day activities (Journeying on Together) on 25th April between 11:30am and 1pm, with a Grand Final at 2:30pm.

You don't have to take part in the practice rounds if you don't want to but they will help you get a ranking and learn how Lichess works! 

There will be prizes!  - Which is why we're asking for a contact Email address and your Section when you register.
