Knowing Where To Turn To If You Have A Concern
To ensure we have a safe and positive environment for everyone in Scouts, both young people and our volunteers, a number of policies are being updated and new policies introduced to help set a supportive culture and provide volunteers with a robust way of dealing with issues if they arise.
This webinar will cover the upcoming changes to various policies and the introduction of new policies – which are all focused on protecting the safety and safeguarding of all our members. This includes the Complaints policy, Safeguarding policy, Volunteer anti-bullying and harassment policy and Whistleblowing policy. These will go live in the next update of POR (currently scheduled for September) but we are sharing the changes and what this will mean for everyone in advance of this.
We will talk through the changes in this area and you will be able ask questions.
This webinar will be particularly relevant for County/Area/Region Commissioners and Chairs, District Commissioners and Chairs, Group Scout Leaders and Group Chairs and all Safeguarding roles. This include any Assistant and Deputies to these roles.
