GS90 - 90th Anniversary Gang Show 2022 - AGED 18-25 & WANT TO JOIN THE STEERING GROUP? Read on....

Planning has started for Scouting to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of Gang Shows in 2022. Some of you may remember previous anniversaries: 60th & 70th Anniversary Shows at the Wimbledon Theatre in 1992 and 2002 and GS80 at the Birmingham Hippodrome in 2012.  In each year, members of Gangs from around the country met up to perform fantastic shows – and make long lasting friendships.

90The organising group are now looking for 4 people to join the steering group. You should be aged between 18 and 25 now and they would particularly like to hear from people with an interest in all elements of the show - production, business, promotion and organisation. They want to get input from them as soon as possible to shape the event.

The initial commitment is for two face-to-face meetings over the next year. The venue and dates for these meetings will be based on the where people live and everyone’s availability. The first meeting is likely to be at the end of January, possibly Saturday 26th. After that it will depend on how the show develops and the role that they wish to take. Reasonable expenses for these meetings will be paid.

If you want more information or wish to discuss this further, then please contact John Ives, Assistant County Commissioner (Creative Activities) on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
