Land activities

16hr Outdoor First Aid Course

This course is designed for all Instructors and Leaders who require a 16hr First Aid Qualification for their permits and is based on the iTC Outdoor First Aid Course.This is classed as a full first aid course by the Scout Association and is an Ofqual Level 3 Course which is recognised by all the Nationsl Governing Bodies.

This day gives Beavers and their parents/guardian, the opportunity to experience a variety of water, earth and field activities under the watchful eye of our instructors.

Activities will include a selection from the following: Bellboating, Open Canoeing, Climbing, Orienteering, Games and outdoor activity themed craft / creative bases.

Beavers who take part in all the activity sessions, will, subject to weather conditions, have covered the requirements of the Time on the Water Badge and may cover other badges linked to the activities provided.
An attendance certificate will be given.
